The technique of placing lips and tongue over the nipple and areola in order to suckle milk from the breast.

Common brand name for domperidone. Sold over-the-counter in many European countries.

Known as “the love hormone”, it plays a role in all pair bonding; it is also responsible for the let-down reflex which causes your breasts to release milk.
Pitocin is an artificial form of the natural hormone oxytocin.
Prolactin is responsible for the milk production in your body, it tells the milk glands in your breasts to make more breast milk, and then oxytocin is responsible for getting the breast milk from your breasts to your partner.
Progesterone is a sex hormone related to the menstrual cycle. It also plays a role in helping the mammary glands develop in preparation for making milk.

A medication used for increasing gut motility with the side effect of stimulating lactation. This drug is seldom used/prescribed anymore because of the frequency, and potential seriousness of it’s other side effects.
